Hi i’m Fin, I’m 19, and the founder of Luminava. My journey began in architecture, where I saw first‑hand how talented people were spending far too much of their time buried in admin tasks like chasing emails, organising documents, and managing schedules, instead of focusing on the creative work that truly mattered. At the same time, I watched my dad working tirelessly, giving everything to his job, yet still feeling unfulfilled. As much as he’d hate me saying it, that stuck with me. It showed me how draining it can be when work takes more than it gives back.
What motivated me was losing that architectural position due reasons out of my control. At first, it felt like failure, but in reality, it became the turning point. It showed me I didn’t want to be stuck on the same path as everyone else, following a system that left little room for freedom or individuality. I wanted to build something of my own. Watching my dad work tirelessly, yet still feeling unfulfilled, pushed me even further. It made me realise how important it is to create a life and a business that gives back more than it takes. My family’s sacrifices and determination inspired me to change not only my own future, but theirs too. That experience opened my eyes to how much time companies waste on distracting tasks, and how badly they need solutions that bring clarity, freedom, and control.
The outcome I set out to create is simple: freedom, productivity, and efficiency. I want businesses to spend less time on admin and more time on their core purpose — whether that’s designing, healing, innovating, or serving their clients. Every tool we build at Luminava is designed to strip away the noise and give people back the time and energy they deserve.
